Hi guys, I'm Trisha Hall.
Wow, that's all I've got. Pathetic. See, for some reason writing a bio is about as difficult for me as writing a query. I know what's supposed to be in it, I just don't know how to go about it. Worse is trying to come up with a synopsis. I'll work on that, and in the meantime, here are a few random facts about me.
I am a stay at home mom with two hilarious, energetic kids that really keep me on my toes. I live in Colorado, in this adorable little town called Castle Rock. I love it here, mostly because there's a cafe down the street that serves pancakes with bacon cooked in the batter. I kid you not. I read a little bit of everything, which has shaped me into a writer that can't settle on a genre. As MaryAnn said to me once, this is the fun part of being undiscovered. I can still write whatever I want.
Which is exactly what I do, more or less on a daily basis.
That wasn't random at all. It was pretty on-topic, actually. I'm proud of myself.
Let's see, what else?
Goats, spiders, lint, squirrels and lightning freak me out. I play video games once in a while, though not as often as I did before I had kids. I need music going in the background when I write, but I can't sit near the TV or I don't get anything done. My favorite board game is Stratego, but I've been forced into an early retirement because my family refuses to play with me anymore. I hate talking on the phone but I love writing letters. My brain just functions better with the written word. (Besides, you can't edit out that awkward pause when you realize you've been daydreaming rather than paying attention to your sister and now she's waiting for you to respond.)
Speaking of editing, I should get back to it. Thanks for stopping by!
